The 1st Yangpu Xin Jiangwan 8K organized by Yangpu District Sports Federation is to start in Xin Jiangwan on October 19. Online enrollment is available at the moment. The organizer intends to attract more people to experience the concept of “integrate sports into life; enrich life with sports” and fully demonstrate the strategic thinking of “mega-sport, mega-people’s livelihood and mega-development” of Yangpu District.

　　The race track will connect Jiangwan Campus of Fudan University, Xin Jiangwan Cultural Center, worldly-class SMP Skate Park and “The Springs”—a high-class complex of residential and office buildings. It will be an October event that running fans that hate to miss on a fine autumn day in the beautiful Xin Jiangwan with an idyllic environment.

　　At the recent pregame press conference, the organizer revealed that there will be a good variety of splendid activities to go along with the 8 km run to enrich the community life in Xin Jiangwan. Besides the 8 km run and the Coca Cola 2 km joy run, participants will appreciate live bands and play interactive games prepared by the sponsors of the event. The organizers also encourage runners to compete for the award of exotic wearing.
