On the evening of September 14, Shanghai Philharmonic Orchestra (SPO) presented the third concert with “Classic Opera Music” as the theme at the sinking square of Knowledge and Innovation Community (KIC), entertaining more than 600 fans with this art gala.

　　Conducted by the famous conductor Lin Yousheng, musicians from SPO performed selected masterpieces by French and Austrian light opera composers in the 19th century, including “Night in Venice”, “Heaven and Hell” and “L'Arlesienne”, intoxicating the audience with fashion and grace of Europe in the 19th century.

　　According to related principal of Yangpu District Culture Bureau, this series of SPO performances are for public good while music fans can get free tickets from Yangpu District Library and Yangpu District Culture Center with valid identification cards. The tickets are limited in quantity and will be all freely distributed to the applicants, two for each person maximum.

　　SPO is to present a concert on classic movie music “Hollywood Classic Music Tour” at the sinking square of KIC on the evening of October 11 .
