Chang Yang Valley has become one of the first application scenarios for artificial intelligence in Shanghai. Ucloud is now a member of Shanghai Artificial Intelligence Development Alliance and a partner of 2019 Artificial Intelligence World Innovations. Chang Yang Valley witnessed the launching ceremony of SAIL·Shanghai Artificial Intelligence Development Alliance, the 2019 Artificial Intelligence World Innovations, and the first batch of pilot artificial intelligence application scenarios in Shanghai.

　　On December 12 last year, Shanghai took the lead in releasing the implementation plan for artificial intelligence application scenario construction, which attracted more than 170 AI solutions for 10 major areas and 19 specific sites. At the event, Shanghai's first batch of pilot artificial intelligence application scenarios were officially unveiled, where a total of 12 specific scenarios including AI+ schools, hospitals, communities, parks, transportation, government affairs, and finance were selected, which are expected to be completed within a year. For the purpose of empowering high-quality economic development, high-quality lives, and safe and efficient operation of the city via AI, Shanghai is the first in the country in creating a smart city with close integration of AI in application.

　　Chang Yang Valley was selected as an "AI+ Park" application scenario. In an effort to become a "World-class innovation park", it relies on the comprehensive technology platform of AI, gathers three major AI innovation experience space of "Ai-Link" exhibition space, Baidu (Shanghai) Innovation Center, and brain-inspired AI chip industry function platform, to promote a variety of AI scenarios for application, enhance the park's capacity of management, entrepreneurship and innovation service, and build a national-level "AI + entrepreneurship and innovation service" demonstration center.

　　At present, the solicitation notice of the second batch of artificial intelligence application scenarios and solutions has been released. The second batch focuses on 10 fields and 34 specific directions in medicine, education, urban management, business areas and cultural tourism. In particular, it looks to greatly facilitate industrial and agricultural development with "smart +", solving problems of obsoleteness, scale and distance.

　　By 2020, Shanghai is expected to have 60 deep AI application scenarios and 6 innovative application demonstration areas to fully cultivate the new drive of the intelligent economy.

　　22 companies and organization including INESA, SAIC Group and Shanghai Electric jointly proposed the establishment of the Shanghai Artificial Intelligence Development Alliance.

　　In the future, the Alliance will center around the Board of Directors and set up professional committees in different sectors of the industry to carry out work in the theme of "empowerment, innovation and cooperation" in the areas of industry promotion, application enablement and talent pooling, so as to promote influence and voice of Shanghai and as a whole in the global artificial intelligence industry, and strive to build the alliance into a platform for the integration and cooperation of artificial intelligence at home and abroad.award for the World Artificial Intelligence Conference (WAIC), was also launched.
