　　Inrecentyears,Chinahassetup many Confucius InstitutesworldwidetopromotetheworldtoknowmoreaboutChina.Comparedwith Confucius Institutes, thepracticabilityoftheCentreforChinaStudieswillbegreatlyenhancedasitfocusesoncomparativestudiesinphilosophicalandsocialsciences.Bymutuallearningandreferences,theCentrewilltrytosolvemajortopicswhicharecloselyrelatedtofuturedevelopmentofChina.

　　Selectionoftopicswilltakeintofullconsiderationdemandsinthreeaspects:nationalstrategies,academicdevelopmentandresourceconsoli-dationandhighlighttheguidanceandprospectiveofpolicies.Specifically,sixareaswillbeconsidered:welfarecountryandsocialpolicies,socialrenovationandcitizenparticipation,political system and governancestructure,nationalidentityandpo-liticalculture,conflictsolvingandpeaceconstruction,economicmodelandsustainabledevelopment.
