INNOSPACE+, China’s first new-type start-up community, was officially launched at Knowledge & Innovation Community (KIC), where a roadshow for a China-South Korea start-up project was held on the same day. The roadshow was intended to introduce promising core industrial development project by the two countries and facilitate the communication in the cultural industry and mutual development of the two sides.
The road show engaged 10 start-up teams, 5 of which are from South Korea that intend to expand into the Chinese markets, covering popular areas including video making, animation creation and VR. Some teams possess world-leading technologies.
Of the 10 projects in the road show, many have stood out including Sai, an open sharing platform from a Korean team that is designed to create subtitles in other languages for TV series, and ThisVR, a solution intended to solve the human-computer interaction.
After the road show, investors had heated discussions with project representatives, who entered into business negotiations on investment and further cooperation.
In summarizing the road show, Chen Chengqiang, Director at INNOSPACE+, remarked, “We’ve seen a high-quality road show that offers exciting innovations. We hope this innovation alliance between China and South Korea can form a globally influential platform to better serve start-up companies strengthen communication in the two countries.”
INNOSPACE+, after an integration and upgrade, was officially put to use. It is a comprehensive and one-stop start-up community that features various start-up service platforms including incubators, start-up cafes, co-working space, makers’ space and makers’ apartment, all of which are intended to provide quality service to start-up companies.
