2018 World Yoyo Contest is held in Yangpu District, marking the first time that China has hosted such events. The six main Championship Divisions included 'String Trick Freestyle with One Long-Spinning Yo-Yo', 'Looping Trick Freestyle with Two Responsive Yo-Yos', 'String Trick Freestyle with Two Long-Spinning Yo-Yos' and 'Art & Performance (AP) Division'. Over 600 contestants from 20 countries and regions participated in the event.

　　As Yoyo gaining popularity among the youth in recent years, the showmanship of players improved. Accompanied by music, participants wow the audience with complicated movements and choreography.
