    Some stations of Metro Line 1, 2, 3, 9, 11, 12, 13 and 16 have installed new CVM machines for people to help them with money deposit, balance checking and validity extension services for their transportation cards.
    By the end of this year, people can also return the cards through these machines. These machines can be found in five stations on Metro Line 12 in Yangpu, including Ningguo Lu Station, Dalian Lu Station, Longchang Lu Station, Fuxingdao Station, and Aiguo Lu Station. People can deposit money of different amounts, such as RMB 10, 50, 100, 200, 300 and 500, into their transportation cards. The whole process takes about 10 seconds.
    The machine installed at Longchang Lu Station of Metro Line 12 is green. There is a slot for people to insert bank cards and also a keyboard to enter passwords. 
    The working staff at the metro station reminds passengers to get the receipt from the CVM and change it for formal invoice at the service center of the metro stations. CVM accepts all China Unionpay cards and also credit cards. However, the machine can only accept cards but not cash. Passengers can seek help from the working staff at the metro stations when they have any problems when using the machines.
