The official website of Youth-20 Summit (Y20) (www.g20-youthsummit.org) was lately launched as a start of the Y20 agenda of 2016.
As a side event of the G20 summit to be held in Hangzhou in September, Y20 will be held in Beijing and Shanghai from July 24 to 30. The conference is organized by All-China Youth Association and sponsored by Fudan University with the support of Shanghai Municipal Youth Association and China Youth Daily. 130 youth representatives from G20 member countries, guest countries and international organizations will come to China to attend the meeting.
The theme of Y20 of this year is to “promote innovation among youth to achieve common vision”. As a convention of Y20, representatives have selected five topics for discussion through online voting. They are “Poverty elimination and joint development”, “Entrepreneurship and creative thinking”, “Green life and sustainability”, “Social justice and equal opportunities”, and “Partnership and global governance”. The representatives will discuss on those topics and formulate a conference public report to summit to the organizing committee of G20 of the year. Rrepresentatives will have dialogues with youth in Beijing and Shanghai, visit related organizations and participate in cultural activities.
