　　Recently, 3,100 m2 Jingzhou Road Kunming Road Pocket Park was refurbished and unveiled.

　　Walking up stairs along new entrance and exit of Kunming Road, the pocket garden in northwest corner of Kunming Road Jingzhou Road has circular walkways, and brown-style tree pool not only boasts seat functions, but also manifests artistic beauty coupled with white pebbles. Mr. Mi is a nearby resident. In his impression, it used to be crowded arbors here, lacking overall planning after trees grew for many years, as well as cramped space. "Currently, the garden is focused on a sense of design, presenting fabulous color matching, and scattered randomly, allowing people to feel very comfortable, plus superb layout of trails, gravel roads and floor tiles."

　　"Bauhinia Park"-themed refurbished park has grown 11 giant bauhinias, 38 Canadian bauhinias and more characteristic theme plants containing the word "bauhinia", while giving rise to ground cover plant communities such as Hosta undulata Bailey, Ligustrum sinense Lour, Teucrium fruticans L., Spiraea thunbergii and Spiraea japonica Gold Mound, in conjunction with the original ground cover update, and Manila lawn is laid out in rich colors. After half a month, the weather will warm up, and here will transform into a secret area of flowers.

　　According to introduction, in 2021, a total of 4 pocket parks were built in Yangpu District, including public green space at the intersection of Ningguo Road Hejian Road, public green space at the intersection of Pingliang Road Neijiang Road, public green space at the intersection of Dalian Road Huimin Road, as well as public green space at the intersection of Dalian Road Huoshan Road. 7 pocket parks underwent renovation, including pocket park on Jingzhou Road Kunming Road (east of Jingzhou Road), Jinpeng garden on Changyang Road Qiqihar Road, streetside green space of Changyang Campus on Changyang Road Linqing Road, green space of Tongji University Metro Station on Siping Road, Siping yard on Siping Road, public green space outside Yanji Qicun on Longchang Road and public green space in southeast of Zhoujiazui Road Jiangpu.

　　It is reported that Yangpu will also plan to build 7 pocket parks and renovate 1 pocket park in 2022.
