On November 15, the 2019 Entrepreneurship Week & Global Entrepreneurship Week China Station (GEW) kicked off at the Shanghai Fashion Center.

　　Over 6 days, more than 60 entrepreneurial theme activities spanning 6 industries were staged in turns in Yangpu Riverside, gathering entrepreneurial resources and spreading entrepreneurial culture.

　　As a magnificent event in the global entrepreneurship arena, after settled in Yangpu last year, the Global Entrepreneurship Week has chosen Yangpu again this year, with in-depth fusion of the "Innovating China" Yangtze River Delta Alliance event in 2019.

　　The organizer has subdivided into 11 industries of "Yangtze River Delta", "Artificial Intelligence", "New Material", "Smart Manufacturing", etc, to focus on industrial resources in a more vertically accurate manner, provide startups with more efficient entrepreneurial service, and build an "upgraded" entrepreneurial eco-chain. For the purpose of meeting diversified demands of startups and creating a more three-dimensional entrepreneurial service system, apart from the opening ceremony, this year's Entrepreneurship Week also held such events as "Angel Fund" serial activities, "Yangtze River Delta Double Innovation Ecology Summit", "Smart Manufacturing Innovation Industry Summit" and so forth.

　　Concurrently, 9 Entrepreneurship Week substations including Xi'an, Wuhan and Shenzhen also joined in this global entrepreneurship event, aligning with the world to spread the entrepreneurial culture, expand the global vision of startups, and stimulate the potential of entrepreneurial projects.

　　At the opening ceremony, the organizer presented the "Angel Fund Young Eagle Award" to 12 outstanding startup companies under subsidy of the "Angel Fund", including "Umatch", "Sunshine Technologies", etc. The award-winning companies are given the priority of financing roadshow, free booth and promotion campaign during the Entrepreneurship Week.

　　It is known that the "Angel Fund Young Eagle Award" was founded in 2013, initiated and promulgated by the Entrepreneurship Foundation, selecting about 10 outstanding startup companies during the funding period of Angle Fund annually, aiming at creating an "Early Entrepreneurship Oscar", so as to promote rapid and orderly growth of the early entrepreneurship sector. As of 2018, the "Angel Fund Young Eagle Award" had been presented for six consecutive years, and witnessed more than 60 award-winning startup companies, as one of the most influential awards in the Global Entrepreneurship Week China Station every year.

　　Coupled with promotion of pilot registration system and gathering of high-quality technical startup companies, the Sci-Tech Innovation Board is right on a "fast track". Since the inception, Shanghai Technology Entrepreneurship For Graduates has penetrated into public welfare and served early entrepreneurship over ten years; star entrepreneurial enterprises were emerged such as Eleme, Titans Technology, Aihuishou and Techase, besides, a funded company has successfully landed on the Sci-Tech Innovation Board this year, and more companies have entered the listing counseling period.

　　"Enable startups to meet one year's investors within six days." "Usefulness" is the eternal principle of the Global Entrepreneurship Week. At this year's Entrepreneurship Week, the "Surong Café" Financing Matchmaking Fair arranges star investors to lead more than 600 investors connecting with more than 1000 startup companies and entrepreneurs every day based on different industrial themes, to jointly create an offline financing platform, and enhance financing efficiency for startups. This measure has effectively established a communication platform for entrepreneurs and investors, helping entrepreneurs to acquire funding and market resource support.

　　In order to better assist early entrepreneurship projects, the Entrepreneurship Week Organizing Committee has set November 16 as the "Angel Fund" Theme Day of this Entrepreneurship Week & Global Entrepreneurship Week China Station, to offer one-stop and all-inclusive entrepreneurial services of offline financing roadshow, academic exchanges, resource connection, expert review, social funding, etc to small and micro-sized enterprises at the early stage of starting up business, through the "Saturday at Early Stage—Angle Fund-Subsidized Enterprise Financing Roadshow", "EFG Entrepreneurial Mentor Summit Sharing Fair" and other public welfare theme activities.
