　　Due to travel restrictions caused by COVID, HR personnel of many enterprises are unable to go out for business. How do enterprises in Yangpu District handle HR-related business during this period?

　　Given the pandemic, the Yangpu District Employment Promotion (Talent) Center issued a guide for handling employment-related affairs during COVID on March 21, announcing the channels and procedures of its online talent service. On March 31, the Center further clarified that during the lock down period, its talent-related service would continue, including residence permit grading, household registration of newly-employed talent, talent apartment, and consultation hotline, thus providing various convenient online services.

　　More flexibility was exercised in accepting household registration application materials. Before the lockdown of Puxi, Ms. Chen, an employee of a group company, had applied for transferring her household registration to Shanghai as a senior engineer, and the online pre-review was passed. After her husband's personal file is transferred, she would submit further written materials for final approval. But due to the lock down, her husband's file couldn't be transferred to Shanghai for the time being, and it was also difficult for her to submit written application materials.

　　What makes Ms. Chen more anxious is that one of her children moving with her is a senior in high school, and is about sign up for the college entrance examination. After the person in charge of the household registration transfer business learned about the situation, he immediately got in touch with the HR department of that group, and communicated with Ms. Chen and her husband, explaining the relevant policies and giving suggestions for tackling the problem.

　　After receiving the re-submitted application information by the group, the Center accepted the application and fast-tracked the review process for Ms. Chen so that the household registration of her and her children wouldn't be affected by the pandemic control.

　　At present, the Center is being flexible in accepting application materials for talent introduction and household registration transfer. As long as the applicant's employer promises to submit the required written materials at a later time, the Center will proceed with other review procedures first. The center has informed all the applicants through the HR department of their employer.

　　Residence permit grading is now available online. Ms. Zhou, a nurse in a hospital in Yangpu District, has been fighting on the frontline of COVID control. The scores of her residence permit have expired and she urgently needs to apply for renewal. However, the hospital has been under lockdown since March 28, and all personnel are not allowed to enter the hospital, nor can they go to submit the materials required for renewal. Ms. Wang, a HR staff of Ms. Zhou's employer, sent a message for help on the "Yangpu Talents", the WeChat official account of the Center.

　　After seeing the message, the Center staff immediately contacted Ms. Wang, and told her that she could send a scanned copy of Ms. Zhou's application materials for renewal to the special mailbox for the renewal of residence permit points, and the whole process will be processed online. Since Ms. Zhou was busy with nucleic acid sampling during the day, she could only scan the application materials at night. After receiving the email of Ms. Zhou's application materials for renewal late at night, the Center immediately opened a green channel, and multiple people of the Center worked overnight for Ms. Zhou's renewal of residence permit points.

　　It is understood that ypjfxb@163.com is the designated mailbox for the Center to receive application materials required for the renewal of residence permit points and yangpujifen@163.com for new residence permit points applications. The HR personnel of the applicant's employer only need submit the application in the residence permit point system and send the relevant materials to that mailbox, and then they can wait at home for the result. In addition, this mailbox can also be used for receiving application materials for business such as password reset, information change, and unit registration.
